As it says in the title I am starting and continuing to work on healthier routines in my life. I have recently started a daily walk around a block in my neighborhood. Admittedly, it is only around one thousand steps but I have to start somewhere. I’ve also started a routine where every hour I get up and I do something to get myself moving. It is really easy when you are disabled to just sit for six hours or more at a time doing things like gaming, reading, watching a show, etc. It is important for over all health that people get up to help with blood circulation and such.
Since I have started this routine I have discovered that I am more productive with my days. My emotions are better as I suffer from mild depression and anxiety issues. I also feel better over all because I am actually doing things I want or needed to do like household chores in a timely manner.
Some of the other habits I am working on involve getting out of the house for a few hours a week. Even if it is just to go sit in a Togo’s or Denny’s and listen to music while I read or write. I need to get out of the house more often otherwise I will develop anxiety issues about it. I have had that issue before. I do still grocery shop a few times a month and run Rx errands for myself and my mother, but, this is only maybe a handful of times. I need to be getting out a couple of times a week.

I say we do some full-on collabs! 🙂 We can’t go somewhere else and write, so maybe we can make our own mental diner and write together sometimes.
